The Portuguese Venice - Aveiro truly one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Portugal

Private transfer from the city of Porto to the Aveiro. *The cost of this service is €250. This includes an executive vehicle, water, Wi-Fi, and a professional and punctual driver.

• Pickup at 09:00am from your hotel in the city of Porto.
• Arrival at approximately 10.15am to the Aveiro with a stop at Costa Nova, is famous for its colorful striped houses called palheiros, lined up along the lagoon and the sea, creating one of the most iconic and photogenic landscapes in Portugal. It is a perfect place to stroll and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Atlantic coast.
• Arrival at approximately 11.00am now we head to the Barra Beach breakwater, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and see the iconic Barra Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Portugal, standing 62 meters tall and built in 1893.
• We will head to the city centre at 12:00 pm, where you will have free time for lunch (we recommend Adega Típica O Telheiro).
• 02.00pm After lunch, start exploring the narrow streets of the city centre and visit the Mercado do Peixe de Aveiro, one of the most traditional spots in the city, surrounded by canals, colourful boats and lively cafés. Don’t forget to try the region’s traditional sweet, the famous Ovos Moles de Aveiro.
• 03.00pm Start by visiting the canals and take a short walk through the Forum Aveiro, a shopping centre with the unique concept of being open to the air. Go up to the rooftop and enjoy the olive tree garden.
• After that, take a 45-minute boat ride on the traditional moliceiro boats, visiting the different canals of the city and feeling a little like you are in Venice.
• 04.30pm Before leaving, place a ribbon of luck on one of the bridges as a farewell to the city.
• 05.00pm Return to your hotel in Porto. Arrival at approximately 06:15pm.
